Joyce A. Monahan

Joyce A. Monahan, 81, of La Salle, died October 16, 2018 in Aperion Care in Spring Valley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with the Very Rev. Paul Carlson officiating.  Burial will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in La Salle.  Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services.

Joyce was born in La Salle on April 25, 1937 to Francis and Hilda (Drewitz) Monahan.  She was a homemaker.  She enjoyed sending out birthday cards and calling into WLPO, where she was known as Agent Joyce.

Joyce is survived by two nieces, Ronda Harris of La Salle and Cathy(Steve)Dollar of Peoria; one nephew Greg Parsons of Peoria; three generations of great-nieces and great-nephews.
