Jennie Jakse Obituary
Jennie M. Jakse, 94, of Utica, died March 11, 2018 in Manor Court of Peru.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will not be any services. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is handling her arrangements.
Mrs. Jakse was born in Chicago on February 9, 1924 to Frank and Mary Kobilca. She married Edward W. Jakse on July 6, 1946 in St. Agnes Church in Chicago.
Jennie was a homemaker and a beautician from 1963 until retirement in 1999.
She is survived by three sons, Jerry Jakse of New Mexico, Tom (Joanie) Jakse of Parker, CO and Edward (Tami Mareta) Jakse of La Salle; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister Mary Zabren of Villa Park. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 21, 2003, her son Bill and two brothers.
