Holly G (Rogers) Elter

Holly G. Elter, 53 of Oglesby, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on February 14, 2018.
Cremation rites will be accorded and there will not be any services.  The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting her family.
Holly was born in Joliet on March 24, 1964 to Gordon P. and Judith (Gilmore) Rogers.  She married Scott Elter on February 14, 1991.  
Holly loved her family.  She put others first and was a very giving person.  Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother.  She was an avid cook and gardener, who loved raising her roses.
Holly is survived by her husband Scott; two daughters, Ashley Angelo of Oglesby and Caitlin (Anthony) Finnell of Oglesby; one son Joshua (Kirstin) Rogers of Denver, PA; three grandchildren, Riley Rogers, Michael Finnell and Liam Finnell; one brother Paul Devon (Joan) Rogers of Florida; three sisters, Jodie (Jonathan) Ridley of Warrensburg, MO, Angel Rogers of Warrensburg, MO and Diane Thomson of Oglesby.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
