Doreen was so much fun. The years we worked at the glass factory in Streator were made fun by the 25 minute ride to and from work and the laughter we shared. Especially when the pheasant came crashing through the windshield into Doreens lap, who was sitting in the front seat at the time. It was funny just listening to what was coming out of her mouth. We all just loved her English accent. She was a very sweet lady.

Doreen was a wonderful and cheerful lady. She always had a smile on her face when I would visit with her niece, Kay Berube! It just won't be the same now that Doreen and her sister, Marjorie are no longer with us, when I visit Tonica. Doreen: I will miss you so very much.
