Dorothy Louise Clark, 89, of Tonica passed away peacefully on July 10, 2018 surrounded by her family in Pleasant View Nursing Home in Ottawa.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica with Rev. Mark Nowakowski officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Tonica. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
Mrs. Clark was born in Normal on August 7, 1928 to Glenn E. and Flora May (Filson) Caldwell. She married Alexander “Alex” Clark Jr. on August 15, 1948. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker. She was an active member of the Tonica United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening and baking. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Clark is survived by two daughters Connie (Les) Davenport of Clayton and Vicki (Robert) Goskusky of Tonica, one son Mike (Chris) Clark of Cadiz, KY, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband on July 12, 2004, three sisters, and two brothers.
Memorials may be directed to Tonica United Methodist Church, Tonica Fire and Ambulance Dept., or the Tonica Grade School Foundation.
Pallbearers will be in grandchildren.
