Doris J. (Jones) Archer

Doris J. Archer, 68, of McNabb, died November 12, 2019 in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.  Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of services.  Cremation will follow services.

Doris was born in Davenport, IA on September 9, 1951 to Earl and Margaret (Lipcamon) Jones.  She married Benny Archer on April 10, 1971.  Doris work in the healthcare field.  She enjoyed traveling and her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Doris is survived by her husband Benny of McNabb; four sons, Chad (Jenny) Archer of Utica, Matt (Janice) Archer of Standard, Victor (Jennifer) Archer of Indiana and Benny Archer Jr. of Fairbury;  ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Sherry Sperry of Davenport, IA and Rita (Bob) Scannell of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Gary R. Jones and one granddaughter Jasmine.
