Christine E. Znaniecki

Christine E. Znaniecki, 67, formerly of Peru, died December 28, 2018 in Aperion Care in Princeton after a short illness.  

Because if the weather, the memorial  service that was set for Saturday January 19, 2019 will be postponed and rescheduled for a later date  

Christine was born in Spring Valley on June 4, 1951 to Elmer H. and Mary E. (Freebern) Schrowang.  She married David M. Znaniecki on June 7, 1974. She retired as a CNA from Illinois Veterans Home at La Salle after 20 years of service.

Christine enjoyed watching ghost shows, reading, and spending time with her cats.

She is survived by one daughter Jessica Heitz of Princeton; three grandchildren, Rayna, Jalen and Kaden Baker; four siblings, Michael Schrowang of McNabb, Russell (Sue) Schrowang of Georgetown, TX, Virginia Taylor of Mendota and Cindy Wagner of Peru; numerous nieces and nephews.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dave on June 1, 2016, one niece Samantha Gaughan, and one nephew Anthony Wagner.
