Barbara L. Nanni

Barbara L. Sobin-Studzinski Nanni, 80 of Oglesby and formerly of Spring Valley, died June 9, 2017 in Liberty Village in Princeton.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until noon on Tuesday June 13th  in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle followed by a eulogy by her family at noon. Burial will be private.

Barbara was born in Spring Valley on September 18, 1936 to Walter and Pearl (Jeneski) Sobin.  She was a Lab Tech for the Peru Medical Center and later worked at St. Margaret’s Hospital.  She was an avid reader of James Patterson novels.  She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends.  Barbara was a life long Chicago Bear fan.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Michael Pierson) Studzinski of Miami, FL and Steven (Nancy) Studzinski of Plato, MO; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two grand- puppies; brother James (Carlene) Sobin of Dalzell, sister Mary (Andy) Taliani of Spring Valley and sister-in-law Mary L. Sobin of Spring Valley; seven nieces and three nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Kay Sue Studzinski, three brothers, Donald, Jerry and Robert Sobin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Family School 336 Alice Ave Oglesby, IL 61348.
