Agnes Jeannette Shilney

Agnes “Sis” Jeannette Shilney, 78, of Spring Valley, died March 3, 2019 in her home.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Friday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.  Burial will be private.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7:00 PM Friday.

Agnes was born in Chicago on October 4, 1940 to Chester and Geraldine (McCurdy) Shilney.  She worked as an Tax Accountant.

Agnes is survived by one son, Stephan L. Wagner of Mendota; one daughter Amber (Matt Inzer) Rappley of DeKalb; one grandson Matthew (Jillian) Gaffga of Ottawa; one great-grandson Noah Rappley of DeKalb; one great granddaughter Alyssa Branham of Anchor; daughter-in-law Laura Macaluso of Earlville; sister-in-law Mary Shilney of Chicago, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Timothy Shelton, one brother Butch Shilney and nephew Anthony Aleo.
