Stephen R. Mustered

Stephen R. Mustered, 47, of 427 Crosat St., La Salle passed away unexpectedly upon arrival at Illinois Valley Community Hospital on April 6, 2017 .

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle at a later date. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.

Stephen was born in Peru on March 15, 1970 to Chuck and Helen (Knap) Mustered. He worked at Hanjin Shipping in Arizona. Stephen attended St. Bede Academy. He was a very loving son and brother. He enjoyed watching movies and TV shows. He loved animals especially the family dog, Elvis. He was an avid fan of Chicago sport teams.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather James and Helen Millman of La Salle; two sisters Rose Mary Jurkas of Ottawa and Debbie Miller of Kentucky; one brother Michael (Belinda) Mustered of Collinsville; two stepsisters Candy Parente of Ladd and Julie Millman of Dunlap; two nieces; one great niece; and one great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
