Sandra Shilkuski, 77, of La Salle, died in her home on September 21, 2017.
Memorial services will be 6:00 PM Tuesday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle with Very Rev. Paul Carlson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until time of services on Tuesday. Burial of her ashes will be Wednesday in the Peru City Cemetery.
Sandra was born in La Salle on June 18, 1940 to Howard and Elaine (Rimmely) Brennan. She married Jerry Shilkuski in 1984. She worked at Sunstrand and later for Horizon House. Sandra enjoyed cleaning, baking, cooking and watching her soaps.
She is survived by two sons, Fred (Sara) Strange and Mike (Maria) Strange, both of Mountain Home, AR; four grandchildren, Serena, Erica, Michael F. and Victoria; one sister Carol (Jim) Gehant of Mendota and one brother Howie (Jan) Brennan of Oglesby.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry and a nephew Michael Brennan.
