Kristine M. (Sebben) Sharp

Kristine Marie Sharp, 67, of Ladd, died peacefully in her home after a short battle with ALS.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday in Holy Trinity Church in Cherry with Rev. Patrick Fixsen officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in Ladd is handling arrangements.

Kristine was born in Spring Valley on August 25, 1949 to Eugene and Janet (Paglia) Sebben. She worked at Peru Greenhouse and provided care for her grandson, William. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was active in sports and an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, going to flea markets, and landscaping her yard.

Kristine is survived by one daughter, Linsey Sharp of LaSalle; one son, David (Jenny) Sharp of Bloomington; two grandchildren, William Moore and Kentley Sharp; her special friend, Lori Keenan of LaSalle; cousins, Barbara Lunn of Ladd, John (Phyllis) Camarlo of Florida, Barbara (Terry) Stank of Spring Valley, Lisa Grivetti of Peru, and Peter (Mary) Lunn of Sterling, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Lori Keenan, John Camarlo, Jeff Sebben, Jerry and Barb Stank, Lisa Grivetti, and Pete Lunn.
