Ken E. Neste

Ken E. Neste, 75 of Wenona, died unexpectedly at home on January 12, 2018 with his family by his side.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Friday in St. Ann’s Church in Toluca with the Franciscan Friars officiating.  Visitation will be in the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of services.  The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is assisting his family.

Ken was born in Chicago on April 5, 1942 to Ken and Grace (Whitmore) Neste.  He married Inga Vaiciulyte in 2001.  He was a property manager in Florida. 

Ken served with the US Air Force for 6 years in the early 1960’s.

He liked to work on computers.  He was kind hearted and full of love. Ken loved his family and was never happier when he was with them.  He enjoyed traveling, especially going to Disney World where he was a kid at heart.  He was the family rock.

Ken is survived by his wife Inga of Wenona; children, Kim (Mike) Budz of Channahon, Sheri (Billy Dowling) Weber of Florida, Jeff (Kim) Neste of Morris, Terry (Nikki) Neste of Michigan, Julius Byla and Timmy Neste, both of Wenona; 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and one sister Jerilyn (Jim) Goss of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
