John R. Gochanour

John R. Gochanour, 62, of Wenona, died at home on December 20, 2017.

Cremations rites have been accorded.  The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is handling arrangements. Private services will be at a later date.

John was born in Streator on August 25, 1955 to John O. and Margaret (Samlaska) Gochanour. He worked for Dennison Ford from 1984 - 1996 before owning and operating J & G Construction.  

John is survived one daughter, Jaci (Jesse) Aldus of Normal; two sons, Jeff (Jodi) Gochanour of Wenona and Joshua Gochanour of Bloomington; five grandchildren; two sisters, Donna (Gary) Naas of Tonica and Ann (Steve) Morgan of Streator.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
