Geronimo Orozco 88, of La Salle, died unexpectedly on November 21, 2017 in Illinois Valley Community Hospital.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Monday in St. Hyacinth’s Church in La Salle with Rev. Jacob Valle officiating. Burial will be in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8:00 PM Sunday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle and Monday in the church from 10:00 AM until time of services.
Mr. Orozco was born in Jalisco, Mexico on October 18, 1929 to Cruz and Josefina (Arellano) Orozco. He married Agripina Sanchez on February 19, 1955.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Rafael, Ramon(Maria) and Elias Orozco; three daughters, Bertha Alicia (Angel) Escatel, Imelda (Amador) Delgado and Maria (Temo) Cuautle; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maria Perez and Maxima Orozco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Martin and Raul Orozco and one brother Victorino Orozco.
