Frank "Muzzy" Cavaletto

Frank “Muzzy” Cavaletto 79 of Cedar Point died peacefully at home on January 5, 2018.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will not be any services.  Burial of his ashes will be at a later date at St. Vincent’s Cemetery in LaSalle. The Hurst Funeral Homes in LaSalle is handling his arrangements.

Frank was born January 31, 1938 to Peter J. and Dorothy (Yates) Cavaletto.  He married Judy Brussock in 1959 and she died in July of 1966. He then married Kathleen O’Rourke on January 8, 1972.  Frank worked at Lehigh Cement and retired from Motor Wheel in Mendota.  He was a generous and loving person. Frank enjoyed gardening, boating, and traveling. He enjoyed being busy and was never afraid to tackle any project. He was quite the handyman. 

Frank is survived by his wife Kathleen of Cedar Point; one son Rich (Tammie) Cavaletto of Oglesby; two grandsons Ryan and Jeremy Cavaletto; sister-in-law Betty Ruppert of Granville; brother-in-law Eugene (Jan) O’ Rourke of San Diego, CA.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Judy, one daughter Lynn, two brothers Robert Ruppert and Donald “Ike” (Laura) Ruppert.
