Francis J. Krolak, 95, of Edgerton, Wisconsin, formerly of LaSalle, died November 21, 2016.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in LaSalle with full military honors.
Mr. Krolak was born on January 23, 1921 to Frank and Elizabeth (Szymski) Krolak. He married Joan Orr on May 18, 1946. Mr. Krolak enlisted with the US Army in 1939. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He retired in May of 1976 as a Brigadier General. He enjoyed traveling with his family and fishing. Forever our Hero he will be.
Mr. Krolak is survived by one daughter Susan Larson of Edgerton, WI; grandchildren, Chad and Heidi Larson and Carl Larson; three great-grandchildren Christian, Cole, and Ava; one brother Edward (Grace) Krolak of Peru. He is preceded in death by his wife Joan on January 10, 2000; one daughter Kathy German; two sisters, Irene Wyzgowski and Florence Stevens; one brother Ray Krolak.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Honor Flight.
