Debbie J. Mallery, 46, of Peru, died at home after a three year battle with cancer surrounded by family on March 26, 2017.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday in the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle. Visitation will be 4:00 PM until time of services. Cremation will follow the services.
Deb was born in Hennepin on March 25, 1971 to Clifford and Kay (Hitchell) Mallery. She worked at Right Spice restaurant in Peru for many years. Deb enjoyed boating with her sister Deanna and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandkids. She was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.
Deb is survived by two daughters Courtney (Maddie) Mallery of La Salle and Gabby (Jesse) Sedam of Peru; one "son" Matthew; step sons Cordel Smith and Dougie Smith both of Peru; four grandchildren Sage, Zoiee, C.J., and Aiyanna ; her mother Kay (Doug) Russelburg of Tiskilwa; two sisters Deanna (George Steinbach) Mallery of Peru and Kim Mallery of Malden; four brothers David (Denise) Mallery of Hennepin, Danny Mallery of Hattiesburg, MS, Rich Mallery of Tiskilwa, and Brandon (Michella) Mallery of Tiskilwa; extended family in Puerto Rico Wanda, Walquidia, and Waleska Mallery; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Clifford and three brothers Craig, Doug, and Donnie Mallery.
