Cecelia M. Wenzel, 71, of La Salle, died March 26, 2017.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday in St. Patrick’s Church in La Salle with Very Rev. Paul Carlson, pastor of La Salle Catholic parishes officiating. Burial will be in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery in La Salle. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is handling her arrangements.
Ms. Wenzel was born in La Salle on April 15, 1945 to Clarence H. and Lucille A. (Renkosik) Wenzel. Cecelia enjoyed animals, outdoors, cutting her grass, and caring for her lawn. She loved farming with her brother Francis.
Ms. Wenzel is survived by two brothers, Francis (Betty) Wenzel of LaMoille and Clarence Wenzel of Oglesby; nieces and nephews, Joe (Linda) Wenzel, Jennifer (Matt) Wenzel-Wamhoff, Susanne (Mike) Bullock, Mark (Teri) Wenzel, Mary Beth (Tom) Norton and Tina Wenzel; several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, Larry Wenzel and Matthew Wenzel.
Memorials may be made for masses or donor’s choice.
